The role is responsible for providing strategic and commercial advice across a broad range of leasing matters, including accommodation planning, market engagement, options analysis, lease renewals, relocations, co-location opportunities and commercial negotiations. A strong focus of the role is relationship management and customer service, with responsibility for building trusted relationships with clients, landlords, agents and other stakeholders, understanding client needs and providing timely, practical and commercially focused advice. The Leasing Manager will proactively manage transactions from inception through to completion, identify risks and opportunities, support sound decision-making and deliver strong commercial and value-for-money outcomes. The role also provides leadership and guidance to the leasing team, supporting consistent service delivery, continuous improvement and the development of team capability.

Market and Leasing Activities: Conduct market scans, building inspections, and negotiate leases, renewals, rent reviews, or variations to achieve the best outcomes.
Business and Reporting Functions: Prepare business cases for client approvals, maintain transaction records, and create operational reports.
Financial and Risk Management: Support portfolio financial management and risk assessment while addressing administrative tasks.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements, fostering innovation and best practices.
Team Leadership and Development: Provide support to Assistants and Lease Administrators, hire and train talent, foster team morale, and prepare succession plans.
Professional Environment: Encourage collaboration, high performance, and ethical standards within the team while supporting individual success and mentoring opportunities.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in transactions, leasing or commercial real estate, with proven people management capability.
Results-oriented, with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding performance targets.
Excellent client service, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to chair meetings and build productive relationships across diverse teams and responsibilities.
Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and manage workloads effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
Sound understanding of work health and safety requirements and a commitment to maintaining a safe, compliant workplace.
