Role Description The Commercial Property Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in North Melbourne, VIC. The role involves managing a portfolio of commercial properties, including overseeing lease administration, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The Commercial Property Manager will handle tenant and landlord communications, manage rent and outgoings, conduct property inspections, and prepare reports on property performance. Daily tasks also include supporting lease negotiations, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and working closely with internal colleagues and external service providers to maintain high occupancy and tenant satisfaction. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, attention to detail, and effective time management to balance operational and client-focused responsibilities.
Qualifications
Strong lease administration capabilities, including accurate handling of lease documentation and related processes.Experience with lease negotiations and a solid understanding of commercial leases and tenancy terms.Effective communication skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with tenants, landlords, and stakeholders.Demonstrated property management experience, preferably within commercial real estate.Knowledge of relevant property legislation, regulations, and compliance requirements.Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines.Proficiency in property management or real estate software and standard office applications.Relevant tertiary qualifications in property, real estate, business, or a related field are highly regarded, along with a current real estate license or ability to obtain one.
