We are seeking an experienced and proactive clinician who is ready to take the next step as a Clinical Nurse. This is an advanced level Registered Nurse role, acting as a clinical and professional resource in all facets of caring for the patient whilst problem solving within the clinical setting. The Clinical Nurse contributes to, and participates in, the education of all graduates and novice staff by being involved in department orientation, in-service and clinical programs.

The flexibility to work a rotating roster including afternoon and evening shifts will be crucial to this role.

About You

An exciting leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse to step into a Clinical Nurse role within our busy Orthopaedic unit. In this pivotal position, you will provide advanced clinical expertise in complex musculoskeletal care, coordinate shift workflows, and mentor junior nursing staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes from admission to post-operative rehabilitation.

Essential:

• Minimum three (3) years post-grad clinical experience in orthopaedic nursing
• Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Passionate mentor with the ability to lead and support our team
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to act as a positive role model and as a professional at all times
• Postgraduate qualification(s) in a relevant perioperative speciality (highly regarded)
