Your New Role

Lead general repairs and upkeep across apartments and common areas – including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting as Maintenance Supervisor at INDI Footscray. In this role, you will manage maintenance schedules, coordinate contractors, and ensure compliance with safety and building regulations. Reporting to the General Manager, you will work alongside all stakeholders to maintain a safe, well-maintained, and efficiently run property. Flexibility for after-hours and on-call work is essential.
  
Key Responsibilities include:

• Oversee all repairs and maintenance for apartments and common areas.
• Coordinate contractors to ensure timely, compliant work.
• Ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs and schedules.
• Provide after-hours and on-call emergency support.

Skills & Experience Required

• Unrestricted working rights in Australia
• State Driver’s Licence (Class C preferred)
• Trade Qualified in mechanical engineering, electrical, plumbing, or related fields (desirable)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
