Factory Operators

Gough Plastics is a family-owned company based in Townsville since 1989. We roto-mould plastic tanks, troughs, 4WD items and many other exciting products. We have expanded our operation in Townsville and moved to a larger manufacturing site in Stuart.
We require safety and quality conscious, hardworking and enthusiastic individuals to join our manufacturing factory Team.  

The roles will initially be casual moving to permeant. Employees who show potential will be given the opportunity to enrol in the 3-year Apprentiships program. Training will be provided to obtain a Certificate III in Polymer Processing

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which takes into account factors such as overall plant performance and production output."

• Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Test prior to commencement and ongoing random testing
• Forklift ticket (LF) is desirable
• Must be physically fit
• Have prior hand and power tool experience
• Must be able to work rotating shifts, have drivers licence and be able to commute to and from work independently 
• Must be able to follow direction
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form
• Ability to follow defined Work Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Be able to work within team environments to achieve business objectives

• Review of current resume, Interview & reference checks
• Candidates who are successful must be prepared to undergo a Drug and Alcohol test as per company policy before they can commence work.
