Business Support Officer, SS CCS Workplace Services

About the role: 

The Business Support Officer, Workplace Services will contribute to a range of business-related administrative and customer service focussed support to the departments' staff and stakeholders, largely across a range of technology services. The Business Support Officer will be required to undertake various tasks across Workplace Services in the technology stream including kiosk support and providing technical support and troubleshooting for users of information technology, including the standard operating environment, network, and devices such as laptops, mobile phones, video conferencing, ICT on desks and printers.

About you:

• Uses persuasion, advocacy, negotiation and motivation skills with clients, providers, staff, peers and managers.
• Exercises professional judgement about the application of rules, or the selection of choices within guidelines.
• Takes concrete steps to add value for the stakeholder; links people with other areas (as appropriate), monitors client and stakeholder satisfaction; constructively deals with stakeholder issues.
• Experience or knowledge in information or records management and/or in technical support, including problem resolution to users of information technology including but not limited to the standard operating environment, network and devices.
