Workshop Boilermaker / Fabricator

About the role

Working as part of our workshop team, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, repair and modification of a range of steel and fabricated components. You will work from drawings and specifications and take pride in producing quality work to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble structural steel, machinery components and general steelwork

• Read and interpret workshop drawings, plans and measurements

• Cutting, grinding, drilling and fitting of steel components

• Conduct repairs, modifications and maintenance fabrication as required

• Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately and efficiently

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop

• Work collaboratively with the broader DGH team to meet project deadlines

About you

• Relevant trade qualification

• Proven workshop fabrication and welding experience

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

• Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable, positive and professional attitude

• Current driver's licence
