Lead Occupational Therapist

As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Lead Occupational Therapist to guide clinical practice, mentor clinicians, and contribute to service development at our Castle Hill practice. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal role in establishing, delivering, and growing our clinical services from the ground up. You will combine advanced clinical care for participants with complex needs with the opportunity to build best-practice clinical pathways and resources. You will support a collaborative team culture by providing mentorship to emerging clinicians and AHAs, and contributing to the evolution of our service model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based assessments and interventions for a varied caseload across community and clinic settings.
• Model professional excellence and provide informal mentoring and clinical guidance to emerging therapists.
• Maintain high standards of practice safety and effectiveness through compliance with NDIS and AHPRA frameworks.
• Contribute to the design and growth of new OT service streams, tools, and models of care.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with families, external providers, and internal multidisciplinary team.
• Support efficient workflows, caseload management, and clinical recruitment processes.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in OT from an accredited institution recognised by the OT Board of Australia.
• 5+ years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current AHPRA registration as an OT with unrestricted practice.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check, and National Police Check (or ability to obtain one).
• Valid Australian driver’s licence and unrestricted working rights in Australia.
• Current First Aid/CPR certifications will be an advantage.
• Advanced clinical report writing skills and a strong commitment to neuro-affirming, person-centred care.
