About the role
About Us
Evoke Living Homes is proud to be a Western Australian-owned modular home builder, delivering high-quality, modular, and transportable homes designed to suit our clients’ lifestyles and aspirations. With strong experience across both regional WA and metro developments, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining a supportive and collaborative team culture.
The Opportunity
As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is central to how each project moves from contract to construction – managing documents, approvals, and compliance to keep every build on track. You will have ownership of the contracts process, with the training and support to grow within the business.
This is a highly rewarding role for someone who enjoys delivering exceptional client experiences while coordinating projects and managing stakeholder relationships within the residential building industry. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through building approvals, documentation, selections, and prestart activities while coordinating with local authorities, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Scope of Work
Drafting building contracts and managing contract documentation through to execution.
Coordinating quote requests for soil tests, BAL assessments, and surveys.
Managing planning and building applications, liaising with authorities to secure required documentation.
Coordinating shire approvals and service connection applications.
Verifying that BAL, ACH, Noise and other relevant building requirements meet the standards set by the NCC.
Managing schedules and progress claims.
Assisting the Siteworks team with subcontractor procurement, coordination, and resolving unexpected project issues.
Effectively prioritising and managing competing tasks based on urgency, project requirements, and deadlines.
Coordinating with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of siteworks activities.
Obtaining architectural and engineering drawings as required to support contract and approval processes.
Maintaining accurate budgets, cost allocation, and job-related documentation.
Identifying and helping implement improvements to contract administration systems and processes.
Maintaining accurate job allocation time sheets.
Upholding Evoke’s HSEQ policies and procedures throughout your work.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
Demonstrated experience in contracts administration within residential construction or related industry.
A Certificate IV, Diploma, or qualification in Business Administration, Project Management, Building and Construction, or a related discipline is advantageous.
Working knowledge of HSEQ processes and the planning and building approval processes.
Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to respond proactively to unforeseen challenges, implementing practical solutions to minimise project delays.
High attention to detail and accuracy when preparing, reviewing, and managing project documentation.
Comfortable managing challenging conversations with stakeholders in a solutions-focused approach.
