About the role
Coordinate training pathways that help young people build skills, confidence and brighter futures.
A bit about the Role
At Youth Projects, we specialise in addressing disadvantage and delivering high-impact support with no judgement, full stop. Across Greater Melbourne, our services support young people through mental health and wellbeing services, community outreach and pathways to education, training and employment, helping them build brighter futures.
As a Youth Activities Program Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting young people aged 15 to 25 to engage in accredited education and training pathways that build skills, confidence and create real pathways into employment.
You’ll work closely with participants and internal teams to understand client needs, remove barriers to participation and keep them engaged throughout their training journey. From enrolment through to graduation, you’ll coordinate program participation across industries including Healthcare, Warehousing, Construction and Business Administration.
Success in this role will come from your ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and effectively coordinate multiple moving parts. You’ll work collaboratively with TAFEs, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), employers and Youth Projects’ internal Recruitment Partner and Youth Coach teams to ensure participants receive the support they need to succeed. Based in Sunshine, this role will involve regular travel across Melbourne’s western suburbs.
