The RoleWe’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of our larger and more complex commercial construction and workplace projects.This is a senior leadership role within our Delivery team, with accountability for project strategy, commercial performance, client relationships and delivery outcomes. You’ll lead multidisciplinary project teams from initial planning through construction and close-out, while developing junior members of the team and driving consistently high standards across our projects.
What You’ll DoTake overall ownership of large-scale, complex and high-value construction projects from planning through to completion.Lead senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.Own project commercial performance, budgets, forecasts, programmes and risk management.Lead project teams, subcontractors and key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.Provide strategic oversight of construction activities, resolving complex delivery and commercial challenges.Oversee subcontractor and vendor performance, procurement and trade coordination.Work closely with Design and Pre-Construction leadership to ensure projects transition successfully into delivery.Lead senior-level project reporting and client presentations.Drive project quality, safety, profitability and client satisfaction.Mentor and develop Project Managers and Project Engineers, promoting best practice and accountability across the Delivery team.
About youYou’ll be an experienced construction leader with the commercial awareness, technical knowledge and client-facing capability to take full ownership of complex projects.You’ll ideally have:10+ years’ project management experience within design and construction.Significant experience leading large-scale and complex commercial construction or fit-out projects.A proven track record of taking projects from initial planning through construction and close-out.Strong commercial management, budgeting, forecasting and cost-control experience.Extensive experience managing senior client and stakeholder relationships.Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, subcontractor management and trade coordination.Experience leading and developing project teams.Strong risk management, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Vista or similar project management platforms.
