• Join the Talent and People Operations team within the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport.
• Clerk Grade 5/6 with a salary range of $102,936 to $113,579 per annum plus superannuation
• Temporary role until December 2026 with possibility of extension based in Sydney, NSW

About the role

As the Assistant Advisor Talent Acquisition, you will play a key role in our closeknit Talent team. You will partner with hiring managers to deliver efficient, high-quality recruitment, providing expert advice and guidance across non-comparative recruitment processes. This includes coordinating and supporting suitability assessments, talent pool activations, employee transfers, secondments and other workforce mobility initiatives, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislative requirements.

You will coordinate advertising, candidate sourcing, interviews, assessments and pre-employment processes, while delivering a positive candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.


About you

We are looking for a recruitment professional with experience building strong stakeholder relationships and delivering excellent business outcomes. Our ideal candidate will bring strong organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

As the Assistant Advisor Talent Acquisition, you will have excellent attention to detail and demonstrated ability to communicate confidently and professionally, providing legislative and best-practice guidance as a trusted advisor.
