About the role
Who are we?
National Indigenous Network Initiative (NINI) is an inclusive, not-for-profit Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation based on Kaurna Country in Adelaide, South Australia.
We are dedicated to truth-telling and advancing self-determination through culturally safe, trauma-informed, and strengths-based therapeutic care that nurtures healing, strengthens social and emotional wellbeing, and supports mental health.
We are proud to be launching the Aboriginal Social & Emotional Wellbeing Centre in partnership with Sonder and OARS Community Transitions, jointly funded by the Commonwealth and South Australian Governments.
The Centre represents a new and exciting chapter for community connection, healing, and culture-led care.
About the Role
Join a role where culture is at the heart of healing, identity, and belonging.
As a Cultural Practitioner, you will embed Aboriginal culture, knowledge, and practices throughout the Centre. You will guide cultural safety, provide cultural support to Guests and staff, and lead cultural healing activities that strengthen identity and connection.
This is a powerful opportunity to shape a culturally led, community-focused service designed by community, for community.
