Role DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled and collaborative Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain reliable software solutions that support business and user needs. The role involves working across the software development lifecycle, from understanding requirements and designing solutions to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement.Key responsibilities include:Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable software applications.Translate business and technical requirements into effective software solutions.Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and well-documented code.Participate in system design, architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.Develop and maintain APIs, services, applications, and software components as required.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects, performance issues, and technical problems.Create and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability.Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other technical teams.Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, coding standards, and engineering practices.Monitor application performance and support deployments, maintenance, and production issues.Maintain technical documentation and ensure solutions follow established security and development standards.Stay informed about relevant technologies and contribute ideas for improving products and engineering solutions.QualificationsStrong understanding of software development principles, programming concepts, and software engineering practices.Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, C++, or Go.Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and common design patterns.Understanding of databases, SQL, APIs, version control systems, and software development tools.Familiarity with Git, testing frameworks, CI/CD practices, and cloud or container technologies is preferred.Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.Good understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.Attention to detail and commitment to software quality, security, and reliability.Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing technical requirements.Relevant education or training in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
