Practice Manager

We are looking for an experienced and driven Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of two busy and growing general practices. Working closely with the Principal Doctors, you will play a key role in ensuring both practices operate efficiently, remain compliant, and continue to deliver exceptional patient care.

About the Role

As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the operational and administrative management of both clinics, including:

• Leading, mentoring and supporting our administration team.

• Managing staff rosters, recruitment, onboarding and performance.

• Overseeing the daily operations of both practices to ensure efficient workflow.

• Managing accreditation, quality improvement activities and compliance.

• Coordinating MyMedicare, eHealth, PIP/WIP and other government programs.

• Monitoring Medicare and MBS updates to ensure billing compliance.

• Managing accounts, banking, payroll support and debtors.

• Organising practice meetings and implementing operational improvements.

• Working collaboratively with doctors to achieve practice goals.

• Resolving patient concerns professionally and maintaining a high standard of customer service.

• Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and overall practice performance.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Practice Manager or in a senior medical administration leadership role.

• At least 2 years' experience working within a general practice or specialist medical practice.

• Strong working knowledge of Best Practice software.

• Excellent understanding of Medicare, MBS billing, WorkCover, MyMedicare and general practice operations.

• Experience with accreditation and quality improvement programs.

• Exceptional leadership, communication and organisational skills.

• A proactive approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
