Service Coordinator - Fire

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Service Coordinator / Scheduler to join our Melbourne team based in Keysborough.

About the Role

This is a fast-paced coordination and scheduling role where you will be responsible for planning and managing the workloads of field technicians and subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and on time.

You will act as the central link between clients, technicians, subcontractors and project leaders, helping to keep projects running smoothly from initial scheduling through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule works for technicians and subcontractors across multiple projects and service activities
• Manage changing priorities, urgent requests and scheduling conflicts to minimise disruption
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, permits, SWMS and compliance paperwork
• Raise purchase orders and manage work orders for suppliers and subcontractors
• Coordinate labour, materials and resources to maximise productivity
• Monitor work in progress and provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records and documentation within company systems
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflow efficiencies
• Build strong relationships with clients while providing exceptional service and support

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in work coordination, scheduling, service coordination, maintenance planning or a similar role (essential)
• Experience coordinating field-based technicians, tradespeople or subcontractors
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines
• Excellent customer service skills
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and business management systems
• High attention to detail and strong administrative capability
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Experience within fire services or trade-based industries will be highly regarded.
