About the role
THE ROLE
The Senior Project Officer leads an escalations team within the Residential Tenancy Act Compliance Program, providing leadership, operational oversight, and strategic direction for escalated and high-risk cases. The role is responsible for supervising their team, coordinating strategies to achieve compliance outcomes, supporting escalated access attempts, attending site visits or VCAT hearings where required, and ensuring consistent application of statutory processes and departmental policies. The role requires strong leadership, judgement, and operational management skills to drive performance and risk mitigation across the division.
