About the role:We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented experienced Accountant to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and wants to contribute to the financial success of a growing Australian business.
In this role, you'll support the business through accurate financial reporting, compliance, tax obligations, and month-end processes while working closely with key stakeholders across the organisation.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage month-end close processes, including preparation of journals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Maintain accurate financial records, including the general ledger and supporting documentation.Assist with the preparation of monthly management reports, financial analysis, and insights to support business decisions.Assist with statutory financial reporting, external audits, and tax compliance requirements.Prepare and submit statutory lodgements and other reporting, ensuring accurate and timely compliance reporting.Support the preparation of regulatory reporting requirements and ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and legislation.Provide support across the finance function and assist with finance ad hoc tasks as required.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:A tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance.CA or CPA qualification, or be actively working towards completion.At least 2 years' experience in a similar accounting position. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.Experience with account reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end processes.A sound understanding of Australian tax and compliance requirements.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
