The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, highly capable Civil Engineer who can assist in the planning and delivery of key projects within the water utilities sector within the asset solutions and renewals areas in Iine with our client needs. Working as part of a driven team with guidance from Senior Specialist delivery experts you will enjoy working with a range of stakeholders including clients, our internal team Business Development and Operations.
In this role, you will develop and deliver integration plans across the business including:
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and create detailed schedules to ensure projects are effectively planned
• Team and resource management: Lead and direct project teams, allocate resources, and work with Project Supervisors to assign tasks to team members.
• Budget and timeline management: Manage project budgets and ensure adherence to timelines.
• Risk and issue management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks. Track issues and ensure they are resolved promptly.
• Communication: Facilitate communication among team members, stakeholders including clients and delivery teams with regular project progress updates.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards particularly inline with clients needs.
• Manage and maintain project documentation.
About You
You’re a systems-focused professional with strong technical capability and the confidence to take ownership of complex workflows and reporting needs. You enjoy being hands-on and working directly with our clients and a variety of other employees across the organisation.
You will bring:
• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 years working experience in project management or civil engineering within the water utilities or wastewater sectors
• Leadership and team management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong organisational and time management ability
• Well developed budgeting and financial acumen
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking ability
• Great technical foundation relevant to our project area with risk assessment/mitigation experience
This role is based in the office at Ingleburn (NSW) .
