Residential Support Worker - Broome

About the Role:

As a Residential Support Worker, you’ll help create a safe and stable environment for young people navigating the justice system. You’ll be there for the daily wins, encouraging healthy choices, keeping routines on track, and supporting young people to meet their bail conditions. When the residence is unoccupied, you'll step into a community-focused role, mentoring youth, building local connections, and strengthening Hope’s presence in Broome.

What’s on offer:

• Permanent Part-Time (38 hours/5 shifts per fortnight) - $40.49/hr + $5.57 regional allowance + penalty rates (SCHADS Level 3)
• Casual - $50.60/hr + $5.57 regional allowance + penalty rates (SCHADS Level 3)

You’ll need:

• Cert III (or relevant experience) in Youth Work, Community Services or similar
• Experience working with at-risk or complex-needs youth aged 10-18
• Must be willing to work within a 24/7 roster
• An understanding of and adherence to working within personal and professional boundaries
• Ability to prepare meals & maintain a clean and healthy environment
• Understanding of Aboriginal culture and community
• Must be confident working autonomously
• A calm, respectful, and resilient approach
• A current drivers licence and First Aid certificate
