Experienced Medical Receptionist – New Medical Practice

Flexible hours | Hours negotiable

We’re looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our newly opening medical practice in Nedlands and become an important part of our team from the very beginning.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves medical reception, enjoys creating a welcoming experience for patients and wants to help shape the front desk of a new and growing practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming patients and managing enquiries

• Appointment bookings and diary management

• Medicare billing, receipting and payments

• Managing phone calls, correspondence and patient records

• Supporting doctors, nurses and practice management

• General reception and administrative duties

• Helping establish efficient reception systems and workflows

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous medical reception experience

• Has a good understanding of Medicare and general practice

• Is confident, organised and able to multitask

• Communicates warmly and professionally

• Works well independently and within a team

• Takes initiative and genuinely cares about the patient experience

Experience with Best Practice software would be highly regarded.
