Boasting 5 bars, Bistro, Café, The Italian Kitchen, Function Facilities (an array of events, weddings, formals and conferences), a variety of entertainment options, Courtesy Shuttle, an accredited Tourism Information Centre, Mantra Ettalong Beach on site, we really do have so much to offer.

We have opportunity for talented, hands-on, experienced, and enthusiastic Bistro and Function Supervisors who have a strong food and beverage skillset, to join our team.

We are focused on securing team members with a strong food and beverage skillset, who have the drive to develop their skills in Gaming and Reception in the future if they wish to do so. We are currently looking for one full time and one casual team member.

You may be someone currently employed in a smaller venue as a Supervisor, looking for that step up into a large organisation.

You will:

• Greet members, guests, and team members with a positive and friendly attitude.
• Supervise team members, ensuring service standards are met.
• Respond to customer feedback, resolve issues or complaints where possible and ensure escalation to relevant parties.
• Ensuring accurate set up of function rooms, Supervise Functions and liaise with Function clients
• Assisting the Duty Managers and department managers by ensuring that our Club operation runs smoothly each day, including adequate roster covering and replacing leave.
• Comply with the relevant Acts (Registered Clubs Act; Liquor Act; Food Act and Food Handling; RSA; RCG; ARCG and Gaming Regulations) and ensure our teams do too.

About You

• At least 1 year supervisory experience within a Registered Club or similar hospitality business (highly desirable).Operational experience in catering including functions.
• The demonstrated ability to coach, motivate and lead a large team in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to provide/submit detailed reports as required.
• Good availability across 7 days of the week, including ALL public holidays due to the rotation of the roster and business requirements.
• RSA and RCG qualifications for NSW and an ability to apply them in a busy environment.
• First Aid and CPR Certifications (or the willingness to obtain).
• Excellent personal presentation standards and grooming
• A hands-on approach.

Successful candidates will be required to complete a National Criminal History Record (Police) Check and an AML Check (Ettalong Diggers will pay for this).
