About the role

Join the team at Castle Air Conditioning as a full-time Air conditioning 1st, 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice based in Cessnock, NSW. We are seeking 1st, 2nd or 3rd year apprentices. In this role, you will gain hands-on training and experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, working alongside an experienced technician to develop your skills and knowledge.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the installation, servicing and repair of domestic, commercial and air conditioning and refrigeration systems

• Learning how to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning and refrigeration equipment

• Developing practical skills in areas such as electrical wiring, pipe fitting, soldering and brazing

• Maintaining a safe and organised work environment

• Completing relevant trade-based training and obtaining industry qualifications

What we're looking for

• Strong interest and enthusiasm for the air conditioning and refrigeration trades

• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail

• Good physical fitness and manual dexterity

• The ability to work effectively as part of a team

• A willingness to learn and undertake formal training

• A valid driver's licence
