🗂 We’re Hiring: IT Support Officer🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time💼 Level: Entry-Level to Mid-LevelWe are seeking a reliable, service-oriented, and technically skilled IT Support Officer to provide day-to-day technical support, troubleshoot IT issues, and maintain reliable technology systems across the organization. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy problem-solving, working with users, and supporting IT infrastructure in a fast-paced business environment.🎯 Key Responsibilities• Provide first-line and second-line technical support to employees for hardware, software, and IT-related issues.• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems involving computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade hardware, software, and operating systems.• Support Windows, Microsoft 365, email, collaboration tools, and other business applications.• Manage user accounts, access permissions, password resets, and basic system configurations.• Monitor and respond to IT support tickets, incidents, and service requests in a timely manner.• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, and other connectivity issues.• Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, including device setup and account access.• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, hardware, software licenses, and equipment assignments.• Perform routine system maintenance, software updates, security checks, and device configurations.• Assist with data backup, recovery, cybersecurity, and IT security procedures.• Support video conferencing, meeting room technology, printers, and other office IT equipment.• Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff, vendors, or external service providers when required.• Prepare and maintain IT documentation, troubleshooting guides, and user support materials.• Assist with IT infrastructure upgrades, system implementations, and technology projects.• Provide basic IT training and guidance to employees on systems, applications, and security best practices.• Identify recurring technical issues and recommend improvements to enhance IT service quality and efficiency.✅ Requirements• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred.• Previous experience in IT support, technical support, help desk, or system administration is an advantage.• Good understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, hardware, and common business applications.• Basic knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and VPN.• Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, or similar identity management platforms is an advantage.• Familiarity with IT service management and ticketing systems is preferred.• Basic understanding of cybersecurity, access control, endpoint security, and data protection practices.• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.• Excellent customer service and communication skills.• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple support requests.• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.• Patient, professional, proactive, and service-oriented approach to user support.• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, ITIL, or equivalent are an advantage.🌟 What We Offer• Hands-on experience supporting business-critical IT systems and users.• Exposure to hardware, software, networking, cloud services, cybersecurity, and IT operations.• Opportunity to work on IT infrastructure upgrades and technology improvement projects.• Training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.• Opportunity to work closely with experienced IT professionals and cross-functional teams.• Career progression into IT Support Specialist, System Administrator, Network Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or related roles.• A professional, collaborative, and technology-driven working environment.• Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives.
