Project Administrator

About the role

HD Renewable Energy Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Administrator to support the administration, coordination and delivery of its renewable energy and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Australia. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, contractors, consultants, suppliers, internal teams and other stakeholders to support the effective administration and implementation of projects throughout their development, construction, operational and transition phases.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer BESS and renewable energy projects, including project schedules, documentation, reporting and records.

• Administer and monitor EPC and O&M contracts, including deliverables, milestones, variations and contractor performance.

• Support procurement and commercial negotiations, including quotations, supplier engagement and contract documentation.

• Monitor project budgets, expenditure and financial records, and prepare cost and progress reports.

• Maintain documentation and provide support for regulatory compliance, FIRB requirements and audits.

• Coordinate project transitions between development, construction and operational phases.

• Prepare project reports, presentations and management updates, and follow up on project actions and deliverables.

• Support the company's expansion and establishment in the Australian market by coordinating market-entry projects, preparing relevant documentation and reports, liaising with key stakeholders, and monitoring implementation activities and project milestones.

About you

• A relevant Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree or higher qualification in project management, business administration, commerce, engineering, renewable energy or a related discipline.

• Relevant experience in project administration, project coordination or a comparable role.

• Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, BESS or other large-scale project environments is highly desirable.

• Experience with contract administration, procurement and project budget monitoring.

• Strong organisational, documentation and project coordination skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and competing project priorities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant project management and document management systems.
