Migration Agent

Latifa & Associates is a Migration Agency with over a decade of experience, offering specialized and innovative migration solutions across a broad range of visa subclasses. Our services include the preparation and lodgement of visa applications, provision of written submissions and responses to Departmental requests, attendance with clients at the Department of Home Affairs, and representation and relentless advocacy (both written and oral) before the Administrative Review Tribunal.

Duties:

The suitable candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Actively manage and develop client relationships, including face-to-face communications, telephone, and email inquiries.

• Prepare, check, and lodge visa applications successfully.

• Provide migration advice and assistance across various visa subclasses, including but not limited to:

• General Skilled Migration (GSM) and skills assessments

• Employer-sponsored visas

• Partner and family visas

• Refugee and Humanitarian Visas

• 482 Work Visas

• Ministerial Intervention Applications

• Write legal submissions to the Administrative Review Tribunal regarding protection, partner, student, tourist and employer-sponsored visas applications.

• Comply with the Code of Conduct established by the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA).

• Manage time effectively to meet deadlines concerning the preparation and lodgement of visa applications and appeals.

Qualifications and Qualities:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and qualities:

• Current registration with the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA)

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Migration Agent, or similar industry experience

• Must have experience with 482 work visas and Ministerial Intervention applications

• Excellent English language communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines

• High attention to detail, ensuring that documents are prepared accurately for lodgement

• Ability to provide accurate and professional advice related to migration and other DHA applications

• Genuinely enjoys working in a multicultural environment

• Ability to liaise with a wide range of clients from non-English-speaking backgrounds

• Interest in personal development, with an aim to continuously build and expand knowledge
