Dongara Medical Centre is looking for a Full-Time Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and busy practice.

We’re looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, enjoys interacting with people and is keen to learn. You’ll be an important part of our team and will help create a welcoming and positive experience for our patients.

About the Role

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming patients and providing friendly, professional service

• Answering phones and assisting with patient enquiries

• Managing appointments and bookings

• Processing payments and billing

• General administration and reception duties

• Assisting doctors and nurses with administrative support

• Maintaining patient information and records

• Working as part of a team to ensure the practice runs smoothly

About You

The successful applicant will be:

• Friendly, approachable and professional

• A confident and clear communicator

• Patient and compassionate when dealing with people

• Organised and able to manage competing priorities

• Reliable and punctual

• Comfortable working in a busy environment

• A confident computer user with the ability to learn new systems

• Someone who takes pride in providing excellent customer service

• A team player with a willingness to help wherever needed

Medical reception experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential. We are more interested in finding the right person with the right attitude who is willing to learn and become part of our team.
