Bookkeeper

The Gap FC is seeking expressions of interest for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to support the financial administration the club.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking flexible work arrangements, including parents, semi-retired professionals, or anyone looking for a rewarding part-time role within a community sporting environment.

About the Role

• Approximately 16 hours per week

• Flexible working arrangements with the ability to work remotely

• Occasional attendance at the club and meetings as required

• Reports directly to the Treasurer

• Flexible hours to be worked Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays)

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable

• Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations

• Assist with financial reporting and month-end processes

• Support the Treasurer with financial administration and compliance requirements

• Liaise with club stakeholders regarding financial matters as required

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has bookkeeping, payroll and accounts administration experience

• Is highly organised, accurate and detail-oriented

• Possesses strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

• Has experience using MYOB and the Microsoft Office Suite

• Demonstrates excellent time management skills and can work autonomously

• Is self-motivated, reliable and able to manage competing priorities

• Previous experience working within a sporting or community club environment would be advantageous, but is not essential
