Warranty Administrator

About the role

As Warranty Administrator, you'll play an important role in ensuring warranty claims are accurately prepared, submitted, followed through and finalised. You'll work closely with Service Advisors, technicians, Parts Department and dealership management while communicating with manufacturers to ensure claims meet their required processes and standards. This isn't simply a data-entry position. You'll need to understand the story behind a repair—what happened, what was diagnosed, what work was completed, what parts were used and what information the manufacturer requires to support the claim. Accuracy matters. Timing matters. Communication matters.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting manufacturer warranty claims accurately and within required time frames

• Reviewing repair orders to ensure the information required to support a warranty claim is complete

• Working with technicians and Service Advisors to obtain accurate job stories, diagnostic information and supporting documentation

• Ensuring labour, parts and other claim components are correctly recorded

• Following manufacturer warranty policies, procedures and claim requirements

• Monitoring outstanding, returned or rejected claims and taking appropriate follow-up action

• Processing warranty credits and reconciling claims where required

• Maintaining accurate warranty records and documentation

• Assisting with manufacturer warranty audits and reporting requirements

• Identifying recurring claim issues and helping improve dealership processes
