Based at Inghams' primary processing facility in Somerville, We are currently seeking experienced Process worker in our Bonning department to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door with one of Australia's most iconic food manufacturers and build a career in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

As a Process Worker, you will play a hands-on role in our day-to-day production operations, helping ensure our products meet the high standards our customers expect. Working as part of a close-knit team, you'll be involved in various tasks across the processing floor.

Daily Tasks

• Deboning chicken carcasses with accuracy and efficiency
• Process and inspect raw materials safely and according to quality specifications
• Perform processing tasks efficiently and work to meet individual and group targets
• Complete manual handling duties including lift, pull, push, bend and reach
• Follow safety rules, speak up and be mindful of risks
• Clean and maintain a clean workspace
• Work with raw meat products in a cold environment
• Store and maintain materials, equipment and tools
• Identify and escalate Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards, and risks
• Participate in safety initiatives, follow the safety rules, speak up, and be mindful of risks
• Being an active, committed, and reliable team member

You will bring to this role

• Previous boning experience is essential - knife skills and knowledge of chicken anatomy required
• Capability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently, correctly and systematically in accordance with policies and standards
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
• Ability to respond calmly and methodically when faced with obstacles
• A good level of fitness is required as you will manually handle up to 15kg
