As a Private Patient Officer at Liverpool Hospital, you will play a vital role in supporting patients, strengthening hospital revenue, and contributing to the delivery of quality healthcare services. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by combining exceptional customer service, stakeholder engagement, and administrative expertise to achieve positive outcomes for both patients and the organisation.
Empower patients to make informed healthcare funding decisions by providing clear guidance on private health insurance, hospital cover, and admission processes. Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, clinical teams, health funds, and external stakeholders to ensure a positive and seamless patient experience. Contribute directly to funding that supports frontline healthcare services, helping maximise revenue opportunities that benefit patient care across the hospital. Apply strong problem-solving and communication skills to manage enquiries, resolve complex issues, and provide accurate advice regarding patient financial and admission matters. Collaborate with a dedicated Financial Services team and work closely with nursing, medical, and administrative staff to support high-quality patient care and service delivery

Have excellent communication and active listening skills, with a genuine passion for helping people and building strong, trusted relationships. Demonstrate strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a busy healthcare environment. Are a confident problem solver, capable of navigating complex situations, resolving issues, and achieving positive outcomes for patients and stakeholders. Bring experience in customer service, administration, healthcare, insurance, or revenue-related roles, supported by strong Microsoft Office and computer literacy skills. Can work both independently and collaboratively, contributing positively to a team environment and participating in a rotating 7-day roster.
