Job Description

We are seeking passionate Active Support Workers to join our casual team across our Heatherton day program.

Working Monday to Friday (8:45am–3:15pm), you will support Autistic adults in a community-based environment, helping them build life skills, independence, social connection, and participation in everyday activities.

You’ll be part of a supportive team that delivers meaningful, strengths-based support in a positive and engaging setting.

Important Location Requirement

To be considered for this role, you must live within approximately 20–30 minutes of our Heatherton site.

This is an important requirement due to the nature of the role, the regular Monday–Friday hours and the need for a sustainable commute. Please consider your travel time during peak periods before applying.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

Certificate III/IV in Disability, Community Services or Individual Support (completed or working towards – highly regarded)Experience in day programs, supported accommodation or hospital settings (required)Experience supporting adults with complex behaviours and support needsStrong rapport-building and communication skillsMotivated, resilient and willing to learnDriver’s licence (desirable)NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)Completion (or willingness to complete) of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module If you have not already completed this free module, click here to access it.
