About the Role 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Sales Account Manager to join our team based in Monbulk, Victoria. In this exciting hands on role, you will be responsible for sales, growing existing accounts and identifying new opportunities within a constantly evolving industry. This position is perfect for someone who is energetic and thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with flowers, and has a keen eye for both sales and operational efficiency. Working hours are Monday to Friday, starting at 7am to meet market demands. We are open to flexibility with working hours to accommodate your needs

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Achieve budgeted Gross Profit Percentage (GP%) and turnover targets across client accounts.
• Utilise systems to monitor account performance and ensure the full product range is offered.
• Identify new sales opportunities and drive Webshop sales.
• Collaboratively work with the procurement and sales teams to optimize product buying and selling.
• Communicate consistently with accounts regarding shortages, substitutes, or any issues.
• Manage credits and shrinkage across all accounts, minimising losses and ensuring profitability.
• Ensuring regular contact and engagement with key accounts
• Provide feedback on market pricing and trends.
• Ensure a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols

About You

• Experience in sales in the flower industry.
• Proficient in inventory/sales management systems.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A team player with a proactive and results-driven attitude.
