About The Role Following a period of sustained growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our team based in Melbourne, working within our growing Retail/Supermarket channel across National brands, as well as smaller independent retailers. This position is perfect for a professional, self-driven and energetic person who thrives in a fast-paced environment.  Experience in flowers is not essential, however experience in fresh produce is highly preferred.  Working hours are Monday to Friday, with some weekend flexibility required around peak day events. We are also open to flexibility with working hours to accommodate your needs.

Key responsibilities:

The role is responsible for achieving sales targets, ensuring profitability, maintaining product range, and delivering exceptional customer service, and plays a key role in driving business growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and identifying new sales opportunities within the region. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Serving as the primary contact for accounts and address issues proactively.
• Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve KPI objectives.
• Monitoring sales performance, tracking KPI’s, and preparing regular reports for management.
• Identifying opportunities for growth within the category and implementing plans to execute.
• Managing and leading a small team of merchandisers.
• Communicating with Store Managers and attending to customer inquiries.
• Providing feedback on market pricing, trends, in-store quality, and corrective actions.
• Planning and implementing key range designs on special occasions such as Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day.
• Managing the floral range and bouquet design.
• Assist the Channel Manager in controlling in-store waste on SOR stores and managing costings and margins.
• Ensuring a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
