152628 PTY LTD 152628 Pty Ltd t/a Romarge Cafe & Restaurant seeks an experienced Chef to lead kitchen operations and prepare high-quality meals. We are seeking a passionate, skilled Chef to join our vibrant kitchen team. You will prepare high-quality meals, maintain food safety standards, and help drive menu consistency in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits Competitive salary based on experience (Ranging from $78,000 to $85,000) Opportunities for growth Supportive work environment Employee discounts   Task & responsibilities Plan and develop menus in consultation with management.   Prepare, cook and present a wide range of high-quality meals.   Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of kitchen staff.

  Monitor food preparation to ensure consistency, quality and presentation.   Order food supplies and manage stock levels to minimize waste.   Inspect the quality of ingredients and ensure they meet required standards.

  Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety regulations.   Train and mentor junior kitchen staff and apprentices.   Control food costs and assist with kitchen budgeting.

  Ensure kitchen equipment is used correctly and report any maintenance requirements.   Develop new recipes and seasonal menu items to enhance the dining experience.   Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining high standards.

Qualification & experience Successful Candidate should hold Certificate IV in Kitchen Management, Diploma of Hospitality Management (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent Proven experience as a Chef (1 Year full time Required) Knowledge of food safety regulations Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment   About Company Romarge Cafe and Restaurant is a vibrant and popular dining spot located in the heart of Innisfail, Queensland.
