About the role

The Surf Club Burleigh Heads is looking for an experienced and reliable Chef to join our busy kitchen team. Located in the heart of Burleigh Heads, our venue offers a fast-paced working environment with high-volume service and a strong focus on quality food and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals consistently

• Work efficiently during busy service periods

• Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards

• Assist with food preparation, stock control and kitchen organisation

• Work closely with the Head Chef and the wider kitchen team

• Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation standards

About you

• Previous experience working as a Chef in a busy kitchen

• Relevant cookery qualifications preferred

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to remain organised and calm under pressure

• Good understanding of food safety requirements

• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude

• Availability to work weekends, evenings and public holidays
