System Support Officer

About the role:The Systems Support Officer is responsible for providing first and second-level support for the organisation's business systems, including ERP, EDI, B2B, and cloud-based applications. The role also provides general IT support to end users, assisting with technical issues related to computer hardware, software, network connectivity, printers, and other peripherals. The Systems Support Officer acts as a key liaison between business users, IT service providers, software vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure the reliable operation of business
You will be responsible for:Provide day-to-day support for ERP, EDI, B2B, and cloud-based business applicationsInvestigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system-related incidents and user enquiriesMonitor and support EDI transactions and data exchange processesAssist users with business application functionality and operational issuesPerform user account administration, including access provisioning and permission managementEscalate complex issues to software vendors or external support providers as requiredAssist with application testing, upgrades, patches, and system enhancementsProvide first and second-level IT support to users via phone, email, remote support, and in-person assistanceDiagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, software, and operating system issuesTroubleshoot basic network connectivity issues including wired and wireless network connections, internet connectivity, VPN access, network printer connectivity, and DNS and DHCP related issues
Skills and experience:3–5 years' experience in IT support, application support, or business systems supportExperience supporting ERP, business applications, or cloud-based systemsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of EDI, B2B integration, or electronic data exchange conceptsExperience supporting Microsoft Windows environmentsKnowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft 365 applications and servicesPractical knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Enterprise Wi-Fi, and VPN connectivityHands on experience supporting printers, desktop, laptops and other IT hardwareExperience with SharePoint Online and TeamsFull working rights in Australia
