Star Section waiter / waitress

About the role

We are looking for an exceptional Star Section Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Gusto Riverfront Restaurant in Noosaville, QLD. This full-time role is crucial to delivering an outstanding dining experience for our customers. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing attentive, friendly and efficient service to our guests.

What you'll be doing

1. Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner

2. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently

3. Deliver orders to guests in a timely manner

4. Maintain exceptional levels of table service and customer care

5. Provide recommendations on menu items and beverages

6. Clear and reset tables in preparation for the next guests

7. Assist with general front-of-house duties as required

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting

2. Minimum 3 years experience in fast paced fine bistro restaurant environment or fine dining

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

4. Outstanding customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities

5. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

6. Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays

7. Knowledge of food, wine and cocktail pairings is highly desirable

8. Deep knowledge of wine pairing principles and beverage costs is essential
