Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator

About the role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's financial and administrative functions. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, assisting with reporting, and supporting the smooth operation of the accounts department. You will work closely with management, clients, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure all financial and administrative obligations are managed efficiently and accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing

• Preparation and issuing of customer invoices

• Monitoring and following up outstanding debtor accounts

• Processing supplier invoices and payments

• Bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations

• Payroll processing and payroll administration support

• Assisting with monthly financial reporting and management reports

• Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems

• Managing data entry and account reconciliations

• Assisting with BAS, superannuation, and compliance-related administration

About you

• Previous bookkeeping or accounts administration experience

• Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

• Exceptional organisational and time management skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong numerical and analytical skills

• The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team environment

• A professional and confidential approach to financial information
