Car Sales Representative

About the role

As a Car Sales Consultant, you'll be involved in the complete customer journey – from the first enquiry through to vehicle delivery. You'll engage with customers, follow up enquiries and turn opportunities into sales across a constantly changing range of vehicles, from affordable everyday cars and hybrids through to 4WDs, European and performance vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting customers and understanding their vehicle requirements

• Responding to phone, online and social media sales enquiries

• Following up leads and prospective customers

• Showing customers vehicles and explaining features

• Conducting and assisting with test drives

• Negotiating and closing vehicle sales

• Following up customers who have previously enquired

• Working with our finance team to assist customers with finance enquiries

• Assisting with trade-in enquiries

• Keeping accurate records of leads and customer follow-ups

About you

• Confident and comfortable speaking with customers

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Motivated by targets and commission

• Able to follow up leads proactively

• Organised and able to manage multiple enquiries

• Professional and presentable appearance

• Comfortable using phones, messaging, social media and online platforms

• Positive and competitive attitude

• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn

• Hold a valid Australian driver's licence
