Country Pub Manager

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to oversee the operations of our famous outback hotel. Hotel Corones is 97 years young and an icon of outback Queensland, it boasts one of the largest square bars in Australia and has a rich endearing history. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel/Pub management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.

The Hotel Manager will be responsible for collaborating with other hotel departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance and will have overall responsibility for the bar function.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure a high standard of service and guest satisfaction.

- Manage and lead all hotel departments, including, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance teams.

- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality.

- Monitor and hotel performance metrics, including occupancy rates, revenue, and guest feedback.

- Collaborate with the Owners to develop strategies to maximise revenue and occupancy.

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.

- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the quality of services and products.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in hotel operations, with at least 2 years in a management role.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights & holidays.
