Apprentice Electrician - 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year

About the role

Urban Charge Electrical is seeking a motivated and committed 2nd, 3rd or 4th year electrical apprentice to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. As an electrical apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience and developing the skills necessary to become a qualified electrician. This is a full-time position with the potential for ongoing employment upon completion of your apprenticeship.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting qualified electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings

• Learning to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics

• Gaining experience in the safe and proper use of electrical tools and equipment

• Completing on-the-job training and attending vocational education classes to obtain your electrical certification

• Participating in team-based projects and contributing to the overall success of the business

What we're looking for

• Enrolled in a recognised electrical apprenticeship program, with a minimum of 2nd year standing

• A strong interest in the electrical trade and a willingness to learn

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work safely and effectively

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
