The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Grader Operator to join our expanding civil construction team. This role offers a diverse range of projects across both local and remote island locations, working with modern equipment on exciting infrastructure and civil works projects.

The successful candidate will have strong grader operating experience, a commitment to safety, and the ability to deliver high-quality work in a team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate graders safely and efficiently across a variety of civil construction projects.

• Perform final trim, road construction, maintenance, and earthworks activities.

• Utilise Topcon GPS or similar machine guidance systems.

• Complete daily pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance.

• Work in accordance with site safety requirements, SWMS, and company procedures.

• Follow directions from supervisors and work collaboratively with project teams.

• Maintain a high standard of productivity and workmanship.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Must be based in Cairns, this is not a FIFO role

• Minimum 5 year's operating Grader at a Final Trim Level

• Proven experience operating graders within the civil construction industry.

• Relevant plant operator tickets and competencies.

• White Card.

• Current Driver's Licence.

• Experience with Topcon GPS or similar systems (preferred).

• Strong commitment to safety and quality.

• Ability to work both locally and on remote island projects when required.

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
