OTA Group is looking for a qualified Auto Electrician to join our growing team.

If you enjoy working on trucks, solving problems and taking pride in quality workmanship, this is a great opportunity to join a hands-on team working across a range of heavy vehicles, accessories and custom truck fit outs.

This is a full-time permanent position, with a competitive remuneration package negotiable based on your skills and experience.

About the Role

As our Auto Electrician, you'll work across a variety of trucks and heavy vehicles, carrying out electrical installation, diagnosis, repairs and accessory fitment.

Your day-to-day work may include:

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on trucks and machinery

• Installing and wiring truck accessories and aftermarket equipment

• Air Conditioning systems fitment and repairs

• Testing completed work to ensure everything operates correctly

• Working alongside our workshop and fit-out team on larger projects

No two jobs are exactly the same, so this role would suit someone who enjoys variety and hands-on work rather than doing the same task every day.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll be a qualified Auto Electrician who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a practical, team-focused workshop.

Essential Requirements

• Recognised Auto Electrical trade qualification

• Relevant licences to reflect your role

• Current driver's licence

• Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems

• Ability to confidently diagnose and repair electrical faults

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

We're looking for someone who:

• Has an interest in trucks and heavy vehicles

• Produces neat, reliable and high-quality work

• Has strong problem-solving skills

• Is reliable, organised and takes pride in getting the job done properly

• Has a positive attitude and is willing to contribute to the wider workshop team

Previous heavy vehicle or truck fit-out experience will be highly regarded
