Market Check is proud to announce the launch of our 2027 Graduate Program, designed to nurture and develop the next generation of leaders in the agricultural industry. Our inaugural graduate program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, extensive training and expertise in the Australian grain market. The program offers successful applicants experience across our Trading, Operations, Logistics and Advisory teams. The program aims to equip graduates with the essential skills and knowledge required to excel in the competitive grain industry while fostering professional growth and personal development. Graduates will work with some of the industry’s most experienced and talented grain market advisors.

Responsibilities

• Participate in rotational placements across different business units to gain comprehensive industry exposure.
• Assist in conducting market research and analysis to support client grain marketing strategies.
• Physical grain contract administration and execution.
• Grain stock and bank reconciliation.
• Transport planning & scheduling.
• Price discovery & recording.
• Negotiation & grain brokering.
• Process recording and improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Agriculture, Economics, Business, Finance or a related field, graduating before February 2027.
• Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident – please note that temporary visa holders are not eligible for this program. 
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in the agricultural industry.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
• Proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with AI tools is a plus.
• High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
• Willing to relocate for program rotations across Australia.
