Performance Advisor

About the role

As a Performance Advisor, you’ll be one of the first people our customers speak to when they contact Just Autos, and you’ll play a big part in turning their ideas for their vehicle into reality.

You’ll work with customers who are genuinely passionate about their 4WDs, whether they’re looking for more performance, better towing capability or planning their next complete vehicle build. You’ll take the time to understand their vehicle, how they use it and what they ultimately want to achieve.

From there, you’ll guide them through the right performance solutions, build exciting packages, prepare quotes, follow up opportunities and confidently turn genuine enquiries into confirmed bookings.

This is a role where you can talk cars, build relationships, chase results and enjoy the satisfaction of closing the deal, all while representing an established performance brand that continues to grow.

You’ll work closely with our sales, workshop and technical teams and take ownership of your customers from their very first conversation right through to handing their keys back.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of genuine customer enquiries and turn opportunities into confirmed bookings

• Understand each customer's vehicle, goals and performance needs, then recommend the right solution

• Confidently follow up quotes, overcome objections and close sales

• Identify opportunities to increase the value of a build where it genuinely benefits the customer

• Manage your sales pipeline and stay on top of every opportunity

• Consistently work towards and achieve individual and team sales KPI's

• Build strong customer relationships that drive repeat business and referrals

• Work closely with our workshop, tuning, parts and technical teams to deliver what you've promised

• Own the customer experience from the first conversation through to vehicle handover

About you

• Proven sales experience and a track record of achieving results within a KPI structure

• Confidence speaking with customers face-to-face and over the phone

• The ability to ask good questions, listen and build trust

• Confidence following up opportunities and asking for the sale

• Strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple customers and opportunities

• A positive, professional attitude and a willingness to learn

• An interest in cars, 4WDs or automotive performance

• A current Australian driver's licence, full Australian working rights and full-time availability

Automotive, 4WD, mechanical, parts or performance industry experience is highly regarded, but not essential
